Highly Recommended

Assassin's Creed Odyssey is an action role-playing video game developed by Ubisoft Quebec and published by Ubisoft. It is the 11th major title of the series.Ubisoft has done one hell of a job in turning this title into a masterpiece.

Reborngamers Review:

The combat, gameplay, storyline, graphics, audio all are just superb. Specifically, the story will get inside and strike your heart really soon while playing. This whole title is based on getting Alexios' or Kassandra's (the main character(s)) family back together. The game gives the freedom to choose either the brother (Alexios) or the sister (Kassandra) at the very start based on which the story progresses. There will be many times when your decision will completely shape the course of the game. Take your responsibility wisely (lol).

The main story starts and ends with the hero's family being torn and then all come together; "the happy ending", of course only if you choose so. The story is very well woven and articulated. It really gives an engaging experience with the character. I won't say much about this otherwise it will ruin your own experience.

The combat sequence, moves, and counters are all just like you watch an awesome action movie. You have to be an all-rounder, keeping in mind to assign the superb abilities (3 types - assassin, warrior, hunter - based on your playstyle), check your inventory timely to pick the right weapon(s) and armor(s) for your hero, and upgrade your godly spear so that you can use your abilities to their fullest. And, how can I forget about the awesome counter attacks and last minute dodges? At least I have killed most of my opponents using the counters and dodges. They give a whole new dimension to the gameplay.

Gameplay experience of this game has been awesome for me. There are many new and interesting things included in this title like the Mercenaries tab and the Cultists tab. Mercenaries are just like the hero of the character and are basically bounty hunters and will hunt you down if there's a bounty placed on your head by someone. Bounties are placed if you murder someone in public, or steal, or commit any kind of crime. You can either kill the one who placed the bounty on you or the bounty hunter or pay all the bounties. Every mercenary has their own tier and higher the bounty placed on you, better mercenaries will come to kill you. Now, the cultists are those who want to destroy the whole Greek empire. They are the one who are playing the bigger game of politics and are igniting the fight between Sparta and Athens to divide the Greek kingdom. You need to kill each one of them to really save Greece. But, leveling up for some of the main odyssey quests takes and wastes a huge amount of our time. My favorite events to level up quickly are the arena fights and the wars. My most lovable quests for leveling up are the quests of Gates of Atlantis where you battle the mythical creatures like the Sphinx, Minotaur, etc.

Ubisoft Quebec has done a smoking hot job in detailing each and every small things in the game. No wonder you enjoy every passing moment of the game. Just notice while playing the small things like, the dust particles dripping from the cave or building cracks and crevices, the water ripples, the leaves floating in air near the forests, etc.The dialogue audio sometimes was a bit low, but nothing to worry about. You will notice it only if you listen carefully and don't use headphones.

Verdict:

I recommend my every gamer bros and sisters out there, reading this review of course, to immerse into this game at least once and enjoy being a Master Assassin. Another Masterpiece from Ubisoft.I really dont know how Ubisoft manages to deliver the best heroes for their Assassin Creed games. The characters in this game are the best of them all. Go save Greece!

Ni No Kuni 2Review

Ni No Kuni 2 Revenant Kingdom is an action role-playing game published by Bandal Namco Entertainment and Developed by Level 5. This is a sequel to the first game. Let's have a look.

Reborngamers Review:

Ni no Kuni 2 is a beautiful RPG game with amazing animated visuals. In this era of gaming where graphics are considered one of the strongest points in reviewing a game, Ni no Kuni 2 pars it all with its gorgeous eye-catching beautiful world. This game re-establishes thinking of those people who think animated games less interesting than games with graphics close to reality.

Being an RPG game, this game has great content to play. It takes around 35 to 40 hours to complete the main storyline of the game, but it may take more than 60 hours for those who are willing to explore more of the world.

When the game was initially released, it has received reviews of being too damn easy. There were NO settings to adjust difficulty. And yes, it is too easy at some places like in the open world map. But it is also super hard at some other places if the player is willing to search for them. Like for example “Tainted monsters” are one of them.

After the release of patch 1.03, the game now provides difficulty settings – Normal, Hard & Expert. I have to say after the patch, the game now becomes more balanced compared to initial release. My suggestion to any player would be to play the game in “Hard mode”.

There are still difficulty abnormalities are there with the game. In some places, it is too easy and it is too hard in other. Some enemies take more damage easily and other take less damage even if you are close to the enemy level. This is the only technical flaw with the game. Otherwise, the game is fantastic.

There are many RPG elements to the game. You may obtain good damage causing weapons, wear improved armor and accessories to defend and do magic-based attacks. Also one may build kingdom and level the kingdom to further investigate on the innumerable number of RPG elements the game provides. It is really fun to explore all these RPG elements in the game, but the imbalance in the difficulty causes players to not explore much of these attributes and simply hack/slash to move ahead with the story. This causes less farming & grinding which again leads to player completing the game easily without exploring much of the game.

But the game is super vast in content and one should definitely explore as much as possible.

To properly utilize the RPG elements of the game, my suggestion is to play the entire game in “Hard mode”, but also keep switching your difficulty level when and where required. If you feel it too easy, switch it to expert and if you feel too hard, then switch it to normal mode.

This way, you get to make the game balanced in difficulty and you will get interested to explore the world and learn & utilize the RPG elements of the game properly.

Story:

Well, I should be honest in saying that this game is no masterpiece in the story department. It is a very simple story. Evan is the little guy whose father is a king and just died. Evan gets betrayed. He escapes his kingdom and builds a new kingdom.

From this part of the game, logic is less applied. Sometimes it feels more childish than ever. But this is a game and sometimes games are supposed to have silly childish logic. It’s just that this game is more of silly & childish. It is not bad but is just silly.

Graphics and Sound/Music:

As I have already told in the first couple of lines of this review, the animations of the game look very eye candy. It is really colorful to look at. But when the characters move to the world map, the animations are totally minimized to kind of small blocks. This, however, is not that bad, but not that great compared to normal animations. This might have been done to avoid big loading times and players will be able to easily walk through the world map.

The music of the game is also amazing. There are different kingdoms in the game. While the player goes through each kingdom, different music is being played and it is very refreshing. You never get bored with the music. Like many players, I myself liked the music played during my stay in Goldpaw kingdom.

Acting:

This is the place where most gamers get mad. Because the game has very less acting, I mean very less voice acting. Almost 80% of the game with cutscenes is nothing but subtitles. Players have to carefully read the subtitles to understand the story. Only at very important cutscenes, voice acting is implemented.

In this era of gaming, where cutscenes are the most efficient way of immersion in the game, players being forced to read subtitles is disappointing.

And the most I hated about the acting part is, the characters only say very few words like “Oh”, “Thank you”, “Excuse me” etc. And the poses each character puts to say a dialogue is very awkward.

One time I gave a rose to a woman (coral huelboom). She thanked me with her standing in a posture of going to war (One leg front, one leg back and an arm raised till elbow in air).

The game lacks in both visual acting and voice acting areas.

Gameplay:

This is the part where the game really shines. Its gameplay is amazing with all of its RPG elements. Player has to continuously check the inventory for improved weapons and armor and equip them occasionally.

All the party members need to be managed by the player. Players are allowed to swap the active party members to take part in a fight. All the party members get leveled up with each combat we go through.

We have higgleheides in the game, which really play a very important role. Players tend to forget using them and simply hack/slash the game. But if we properly use the higgleheides, it really helps a lot in taking down high-level enemies.

We also have “Tactic tweaker” in game, which enables the player to invest their battle points properly in increasing attack power or defense power. One can also adjust tweaker to have more rewards or more XP gained and so on.

The game offers players to build their own kingdom. This is a mandatory thing & not optional. One needs to invest their time in building their kingdom, building facilities in them and doing research in each facility to have more advantages. For instance, a player can build Weapons facility to make advanced weapons. We can also improve the weapons we currently have in the weapons facility. We can build Magic facility and do research in it, so as to make our current magical abilities stronger.

Kingdom building seems a bit tedious but if we get into it, it feels like a mini-game in itself. I have rather enjoyed myself building my own kingdom.

One more thing that requires player’s time is doing skirmish battles. Since we have our own kingdom, we also have our own army. We need to invade other areas and defeat other armies. While this is fun to have our army do battles/wars with other armies, it is a bit tedious and gets boring very fast. The more we do skirmish battles, the more the level of the army unit increases. Since the game requires our kingdom army to be at a certain level to finish the game, the skirmish battles cannot be entirely skipped.

Combat:

This game takes a different path from its first installment. While the first Ni no Kuni had a turn-based combat system, this game, however, features an active combat system, which is great in my opinion. All boss battles are very gorgeously flashy & never get boring. It feels great to see the visuals of our special attacks and magical attacks.

We get play hack/slash while using strategy. We need to prepare for a battle, have our potions ready in hand and equip the most recent weapons and armors for each boss battle.

The game also provides “Tainted monsters”, a very rare kind with a purple ring around them. They won’t attack the player until we reach this ring and accept the quest. But the levels shown for these tainted monsters are to be taken seriously. These monsters are incredibly strong and cause great damage to the player while they themselves take very less damage. But these are best for grinding and leveling up. Once defeated, these monsters provide good rewards, which are very useful.

Side quests:

This game has many side quests which are NOT entirely optional. There are a total of three kinds of side quests.

One is where you do something for a character in another kingdom and he agrees to become a citizen of your kingdom. Recruiting citizens is key to building and leveling up our own kingdom. And to finish the game, we need to level up the kingdom. So these side quests are not entirely optional and you will have to recruit a couple citizens for your own kingdom.

The rest of the two kinds of side quests are either fetch something for a particular NPC or help an NPC by defeating a monster. So it can be said that the side quests are some of the basic fetch quests with a very minimum story. If there is any story to them, players will tend to skip it due to laziness in reading subtitles.

Replay Value:

While this game is vast in content & there is so much to cover in the game, the game definitely has replay value from the gameplay point of view. So if you are a player, who likes the combat & mechanics, grinding & farming, kingdom building & skirmish battles etc., but gives very less importance to the story, then this game is definitely recommended for replay as there is so much to explore and discover.

But the story & acting are so much less inspiring causing any of the casual players to play it as much as possible for the first, but not again.

Verdict:

This game has its own flaws with story & acting but is brilliant in its RPG section and fantastic in its gameplay. Though the side quests are basic fetch quests, recruiting citizens can be quite fascinating. Boss battles are very satisfying to fight, with each boss attacking in a different attack pattern. There is so much to explore in the kingdom while building & leveling it up.

Kingdom come: Deliverance is an Action Role-playing game published by Deep Silver and developed by Warhorse Studios. This was one of the most Anticipated games of 2018 by Pc games fans. Let’s have a look that it has truly satisfied the expectations of the fans.

Reborngamers Review :

Set in medieval age Bohemia the player will take the role of Henry a blacksmith's son who helps his father, run errands for his mother, causing trouble with friends and flirting with his girl, these are the things the players will experience in the start. Henry lives under the rule of a lazy king, some nobles and the people are dissatisfied towards their king, and they plead the King’s half-brother to help them. Eyeing this chance the half-brother brings an army to conquer the kingdom.

The opening hours of the game is relatively peaceful as the player is given a chance to learn the game its mechanics and its storyline. This method of giving the player time to get into their roles is commendable. As the player progresses through the game the real story begins, The King's half-brother arrives at henry’s village with his army and kill's henry’s parents and destroy's the village. The quest for avenging his parents begins. From a blacksmith’s boy to a mighty warrior the player has to guide Henry to avenge his parents.

The storyline is deeply moving, the player will feel the emotion throughout the game. The game’s main character doesn’t have any magical powers and superhuman strength to defeat a handful of enemies at once, the player has to train Henry to be the warrior. This concept of training a Nobody to be a Warrior is so Unique and players will find it more satisfying and rewarding. The medieval world of Bohemia is absolutely stunning, with some historical accuracy and deep detail of the world is amazing. The player can experience through Henry’s eyes of how people lived in the medieval age, this game has the most lively NPC’s we have ever seen. For an instance, If you are guarding a wall of the castle and having a conversation with the guards when you ask each one of them the same question they will give you their different opinions about the matter. The developers have put in a lot of hard work to develop this amazing game. Each and every aspect of the game will give the player the near life experience of the medieval age.

The gameplay in this game is so Unique. Henry must be fed, he needs to sleep to regain strength, sneaking and robbing without anyone noticing is fine if you are caught you have to spend time in jail. Henry’s clothing must be good to even get recognition from the nobles.People will praise you in the streets if you have done them a good deed. Every little aspect is considered and the player will be more than willing to follow these rules of the game. The player can choose a path towards their quest whether they want their character to be a Knight or a criminal. The choices you make will greatly affect the people and the world of Bohemia. The variety of quests in this game is quite interesting and enjoyable. The player will have some memorable quest to complete.

From castle sieges to fist fights with a drunk this game has it all. The characters and voice acting are quite good in this game. The combat in this game is absolutely Unique. They have tried to give the player the experience of real-time sword fights, but it can sometimes feel overextended. The same goes for the archery system too. Remember this game is all about building your character which requires patience which we totally accept.

All goodness comes with some negativity, we think you will need a good system to play this game and even expect good results. There are bugs and the game might give you an inconsistent performance.Getting better framerates all depends upon your system. But these issues can be accepted by the player because of the game they have.

Verdict :

An awesome medieval game with detailed and unique settings which the player has yet experienced. This game might be the beginning of a New Era. We think this game will be truly loved by Gamers.

Middle Earth: Shadow of war is a sequel to the amazing shadow of Mordor game. This game has been published by Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment and developed by Monolith Productions. Shadow of Mordor was a wonderful game. Are you ready Lord of the Rings fans? Has this game fulfilled the eagerness of the fans? Let us have a look with our all-seeing eye into Mordor.

Reborngamers Review :

Talion is back folks, with his Elf Spirit Celebrimbor to slay more orcs in Mordor. This game starts immediately where Shadow of Mordor ended. Talion and his spirit companion have forged a New ring, with the powers of the New ring they intend to defeat Sauron. So be ready to defend fortress and to build an army to take the fight to Mordor. This game has a pretty good storyline, it's not powerful enough but it will do. Shadow of war’s environment is absolutely stunning. From war-torn cities, jungles, swamps, mountains to the volcanic environment this game has it all. It feels like a controlled open-world environment with a lot of orc killing.

The real hero as with the previous installment is the Nemesis system. Similar to the previous one this will contain powerful orc captains and war-chiefs. But the orcs are divided into tribes in this game. This gameplay experience is engaging, satisfying and strategic. You will not find a similar orc enlisted in this system, each and every one of the orcs is unique with various strengths and weakness. Players will face smaller and much bigger orcs in battles. The Orc captains will be Unique in combat, visuals and the gameplay differs in how the player defeats them. This game has more varieties of normal orcs, their weapon, armor, and Style of combat differ a lot.

Don't even think of failure in killing a captain, they will hunt you down through Mordor. When you encounter them again, they will be much harder to beat as they have got upgrades themselves by defeating you previously. This Nemesis system is well compensated by the New fortress system. As you progress through the game you will be able to dominate orcs and build your own army to fight against Mordor. To build an army you have to steal troops from the enemy, infiltrate their ranks and ultimately siege the enemy fortress. There is a lot do for the players in this new system. These sieges are the spotlight of the game it is spectacular, it's fun and challenging.

The combat in this game is smooth and challenging, players will have more fun with their melee, ranged style of gameplay. The character design is well detailed and satisfying. The experience points are gained by completing quests which allow players to upgrade your skills. These skills are carefully crafted and it makes combat much more attractive and engaging. Upgrading your equipment is pretty standard in the game.

Overall a game worth the wait, this game has it all, most importantly its enjoyable, The Unique nemesis system with the fortress upgrade makes it engaging and addictive. The visuals are great and the soundtrack is good, with awesome game mechanics and combat, you will be killing orcs for a long time.

Verdict :

For us, this game is one of the top games in 2017. If you are a lord of the rings fan this game is an absolute must to play. We will be eagerly waiting for the next installation of this fantastic series. The power of the ring is so stronger with this one.

Mass Effect Andromeda Review

Mass effect Andromeda is an action Rpg published by electronic arts and developed by Bioware. After the end of the memorable “Shepard” Mass Effect series, a lot is expected from the players from this game.

Reborngamers Review :

Here we are with a new mass effect game, after the great and powerful adventures with Shepard, players will have a chance to welcome their new Hero “Ryder”. So the storyline starts in the time frame of mass effect 2 when a private corporation packs 4 arks ships with cryo-frozen colonists and launches them into space. Their target is the Andromeda galaxy to find a new home for the colonists and humanity. These arks each have their own pathfinders, Operatives who have skills to find a suitable planet for the colonists. The Pathfinder of our story will be Alex Ryder who has a Daughter and a Son, players have to choose the gender to play. After 600 Years you wake up and your ship is hit by a huge anomaly which puts all the colonists in danger. The adventure begins there.

The start of the game the players feel the thrill and excitement of the events which are going to unfold, the quest to find a suitable planet and hostile aliens to encounter will make the players excited. The main character design is good enough but we cant feel the power which Shepard had. The crew of the Pathfinder will lack motivation when compared to Shepard's crew. The voice acting and character design are not acceptable in this game and never got close to the original series. For returning players to the series this game will make you go haywire.

So you will have only 2 enemy races in this game, which is unacceptable when the previous installations had more. If you are a player who likes to explore this game has a lot to offer, Hours and hours can be put into it for exploration alone. The exploration of planets is vast and very well detailed. The soundtracks and mostly acceptable but lacks motivation in various moments. When it comes to combat Andromeda has something really good to offer, with the newly added jumpsuit and various weapons its fun. The AI in this game will not be engaging like its predecessors whether it's your enemies or even your allies. It has tons of dialogues and cutscenes which are good but lacks the perfect facial animations. You can easily find so many poor animations in this game.

Verdict :

This game had all the potential to become a great game in the series but was dragged down with so many technical hiccups and lack of emotion and motivation. As die-hard fans of the Mass Effect series, we are so disappointed in this game.
