Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a first-person action video game published and developed by Fat Shark.This is a sequel to the 2015’s Warhammer: Vermintide End times. This game was released on March 8, 2018.

For gamers who didn’t play the first game, Total Warhammer: Vermintide2 is a Left 4 Dead style game. It’s a game where hordes are enemies are unleashed upon you, survive with your party and kill all the enemies. Your party will consist of four players. You have to choose from the available 5 heroes to survive in the game against those overgrown rats. We are sure that this game has outdone its predecessor in every way possible.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is a game which is thrilling and interesting by killing hordes of skaven. In these type of games, we cant expect a storyline to be good, where it heavily concentrates on combat and gameplay. But Vermintide 2 does have a good storyline. The developers must be praised for trying to implement a storyline into a hard-hitting combat game. New players will find it easy when they start but explaining few things along the way would be appreciated.

The storyline happens after Vermintide End times as the player has just escaped from a ritual and must save his other playable characters.Players find that the cities are overrun by Skaven and their new-found allies Rotblood. The player has to choose from the same 5 heroes as the previous game. Empire Soldier, Dwarf Ranger, Witch Hunter, Waywatcher and Bright Wizard. Choosing a hero class which suits the player and killing hordes of Skaven is really fun.

Combat and gameplay is the backbone of this game. It's interesting, exciting and more importantly its fun to play. It's not about the player cutting through large groups of enemies. But it is how the AI tries to engage you and tries to single you out. A moment ago you were with your friends killing them, and now you are alone surrounded by these monsters without you even noticing. The player will feel the tension as you are surrounded by rotbloods and ratmen. You will get beaten down and will need assistance from your teammates to revive you. Its a brutally fun game. Just when the player thinks they have beaten a horde the game’s AI will spawn gas rats or a troll to knock you down. It's on the edge gameplay.The variety of enemies the game has to offer is awesome. The enemies are brutal and cleverly choreographed to engage the player with unpredictable possibilities.

Vermintide 2 has amazing visuals. The level design of the game is beautiful, this game has bright colors and good lighting effects. Character Progression will be engaging and crafting weapons is well designed.The newly integrated subclass system which will ease your way to killing enemies is effective.Ending a mission on a high note will reward the players with loot boxes with more customization, new weapons, and charms.

Matchmaking lets the player join other players by cutting down the Skaven and chaos. There are some occasions which may lead to frustrations when a player leaves the AI will find its time to unleash a new horde on you. The main issue here is if the host of the party leaves you are kicked back to the lobby. But if another player leaves the Ai takes control on the character and does a good job.Vermintide 2 also lacks checkpoints, so if you fail a mission you lose literally 30 mins of the game you played. The developers could have done more in the matchmaking.

Verdict :

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has the power to become a classic. With the great formulas of Left4dead and Warhammer fantasy, it has the abilities to reach newer heights. Is it a perfect game? Unfortunately, No.But its really fun. True Vermin Busters.
