Mass Effect Andromeda Review
Mass effect Andromeda is an action Rpg published by electronic arts and developed by Bioware. After the end of the memorable “Shepard” Mass Effect series, a lot is expected from the players from this game.
Reborngamers Review :
Here we are with a new mass effect game, after the great and powerful adventures with Shepard, players will have a chance to welcome their new Hero “Ryder”. So the storyline starts in the time frame of mass effect 2 when a private corporation packs 4 arks ships with cryo-frozen colonists and launches them into space. Their target is the Andromeda galaxy to find a new home for the colonists and humanity. These arks each have their own pathfinders, Operatives who have skills to find a suitable planet for the colonists. The Pathfinder of our story will be Alex Ryder who has a Daughter and a Son, players have to choose the gender to play. After 600 Years you wake up and your ship is hit by a huge anomaly which puts all the colonists in danger. The adventure begins there.
The start of the game the players feel the thrill and excitement of the events which are going to unfold, the quest to find a suitable planet and hostile aliens to encounter will make the players excited. The main character design is good enough but we cant feel the power which Shepard had. The crew of the Pathfinder will lack motivation when compared to Shepard’s crew. The voice acting and character design are not acceptable in this game and never got close to the original series. For returning players to the series this game will make you go haywire.
So you will have only 2 enemy races in this game, which is unacceptable when the previous installations had more. If you are a player who likes to explore this game has a lot to offer, Hours and hours can be put into it for exploration alone. The exploration of planets is vast and very well detailed. The soundtracks and mostly acceptable but lacks motivation in various moments. When it comes to combat Andromeda has something really good to offer, with the newly added jumpsuit and various weapons its fun. The AI in this game will not be engaging like its predecessors whether it’s your enemies or even your allies. It has tons of dialogues and cutscenes which are good but lacks the perfect facial animations. You can easily find so many poor animations in this game.
Verdict :
This game had all the potential to become a great game in the series but was dragged down with so many technical hiccups and lack of emotion and motivation. As die-hard fans of the Mass Effect series, we are so disappointed in this game.
Pros

Enhanced Combat system
Explore vast and detailed planets
Cons
So low enemy factions for a mass effect game
So many bugs and technical issues
Bad body and facial animations
