The International 2019 the biggest Esports event of the year is ready to start its 9th year into the Esports Arena. This is the Concluding tournament of the Dota2 Pro Circuit 2019. This time TI will be moving to Chinese soil for the first time. The grand event will be held in Mercedes- Benz Arena in Shangai-China. This is the biggest Prizepool of the TI and its Growing.
The group stages will begin on August 15th to August 18th 2019. The main event will be played from August 20th to August 25th 2019.
As usual Valve will sponsor $1,600,000 USD. The Prizepool increases with 25% of all sales through Battle passes will be added to the prizepool.The Prize Pool is currently $31,291,897 USD. This prizepool surpassed the Largest prizepool of fortnite which was $30 Million by Fornite for their Fortnite World Cup.
Valve made many changes to the Dota2 Pro Circuit for this year. We think that this was a great move as many teams had their chances in the Dota2 Pro circuit. Compared to last year many teams were able to get points in the table. Valve also informed that the Top 12 Teams will be directly invited to The International 2019. The Major Improvement which we felt was very good that Teams can qualify for the majors through the Minors. The Teams were also able to earn Pro Circuit points by winning the Minors.
The Top Teams as last year held their ground in the points table as Team Secret, Virtus pro and Vici gaming topped the Dota2 Pro Circuit. Prediction :
We strongly believe that this Year Team Secret have a chance to win the TI. They have topped the DPC season and the team Co-Ordination looks amazing. Virtus Pro are also Consistent with their Performance. Team Liuqid and Psg.Lgd also have a chance at winning this TI.
