Do we need an introduction to this game? Popularly called as NFS, Need for speed payback is a racing game it is the twenty-third installment in the long and successful series.It is published by Electronic Arts and developed by ghost games. The recent games from Ea in the NFS series are not up to the mark. Let's see how this one goes.

NFS Payback starts with you as a driver who’s seeking revenge against an organization called “The house” for a car which has been stolen from you after you have stolen it, from someone. The story is dumb, it is not engaging, it's not thrilling and it's just dull all the way from start to finish.This game’s developers have seen too much of the “Fast and the Furious” and have played too much burnout game. The good thing about payback is the world where players can drive around, it's huge and mostly well detailed.Players will find many opportunities to race like off-road races, drag races and drifting races.
This game is a simple arcade racer, it's that simple as that. It allows players to drift the car often than applying the brakes which is good. After you win a race you are rewarded with in-game currency and car upgrades cards. You can choose those cards to be sold, used on your car or send it to the garage for your another car.You also gain reputation by winning races.Customization of cars is available, as with other NFS titles it is just amazing, consistently NFS games motivates the customization of cars to the players choice, but you must visit the Tune shop for the ultimate upgrade to your car in this game.
The races in payback are not thrilling compared to its predecessor's success. The cop cars and enforcer cars just disable themselves by hitting you, mostly the player will wonder “How Did That Happen” when they see a cop car being wrecked. The AI is so dumb and dull, that makes the thrill of the game so low.Before each and every race it gives the recommended level of your car for that event which is good.You cant win that event if your car at least close to the recommended level.The visuals of the game are good, and the world looks gorgeous. Apart from that, there is no unique content in NFS Payback.
Verdict :
We are hardcore fans of the NFS Series its a Disappointing installment to the most loved series. A Need for Speed game to forget and forgive.
